600 Trees
Exe Valley Rotary has been working with the National Trust to deliver a local tree planting project at Ashclyst Forest, at Budlake, near Cullompton.
Please sponsor a tree to help us plant 600 new trees
You can sponsor one or more trees @£10 each
Exe Valley Rotary Tree Project
More than 600 trees have already been planted by Exe Valley Rotary, mixing different varieties common to English woodlands: including oak, beech, sweet chestnut, hawthorn & birch. We seek sponsorship to cover that cost.
With your help, our project will gradually enhance popular walking trails for the public through Ashclyst Forest, (a beautiful but freely accessible part of the National Trust’s Killerton Estate in Mid Devon). Here is your chance to support the climate change agenda; to help offset carbon production, and at the same time to bolster the natural environment by providing more safe spaces where indigenous plant and animal species can thrive.
A certificate identifying the area where your trees can be found – using the “what three words” app – will be provided to all sponsors who leave their email address. (*£10 and over ).
After planting ends, any surplus raised from this project will be donated to support Tiverton’s Hospiscare and other worthwhile causes, further increasing the benefits this ecologically friendly project will provide for our community.
Are you a business?
Businesses choosing to support this project and to sponsor trees will also help to meet a number of their local Corporate Social Responsibility objectives: – including reducing their own carbon footprint; supporting community and charitable organisations; supporting the development and of course enhancement of accessible and sustainable natural spaces in our community. (oh – and any business providing sponsorship of £1,000 or greater will also be invited to take part in and recognised in all publicity relating to this project).
